437 Municipal and Industrial Waste Management (3)
Survey of the regulations pertaining to
industrial and municipal wastes, including but not limited to toxic and
hazardous wastes. Survey of approved collection, transportation and disposal
techniques. Design considerations. Case studies. Individual or group design
project. Fall semester. Lecture 3 hours. Prerequisites: ENEV 331 with grade of C
or better, CHEM 351/353, GEOL 445.
