Moggie on the beach at Nairn. We stopped there, at almost nightfall. Nightfall comes early here. This picture was taken at 4:30 pm. The beach at Nairn, on the North Sea, is a well-known holiday destination, but at dark it does not have a lot to offer.

Jim at the Mercat Cross in Forres. A Mercat Cross is a common sight in Scotland towns and cities. It marks the site where the merchants used to provide the open markets. We stopped in Forres for a snack and to walk around a bit.
