The gangway for passenger access to the ferry. Two days earlier, we had arrived at a near low tide and the gangway was virtually horizontal.

Some desolate area in Northern Scotland, near Kinbrace. On Thu, 20 Jul 2000 , Ray harrison writes: The photo titled "Some desolate area in Northern Scotland, near Kinbrace" is of the church yard at Kinbrace about eight miles away from my parents house. My mother was Head Teacher at Kinbrace and this first picture "Some desolate area in Northern Scotland, near Kinbrace" can seen from her old school. The huge cross half way up the hill is a sheep shelter.

Near Kildonan. On Thu, 20 Jul 2000 , Ray harrison writes: The photo "near Kildonan" is a photograph of the local church at Kildonan. A replica of this this very building is to be found in the Winnepeg suburb called Kildonan. In 1997 I visited Lexington, Kentucky. I thought that the people there were America's best.
